Graham Brown

I was born and grew up on a boat and have always loved the sea, but I worked as a farmer for forty years. The opportunity arose to learn basket making from a friend and I thought that this was a useful additional skill for my son who is a sail maker. But he was at sea so I learned instead. It has been a wonderful introduction to many good friends all over Europe. For instance the organiser (Holger Lönze) of this exhibition contacted me through a French basket maker whom he met out in Spain.
