This large format lino cut represents a series of works by Mark that explore hand cut lettering and vernacular type designs relevant to a number of cities around the world.
Through very in depth research and crafting, Mark was able to produce very exacting prints that whilst about place, also tried to communicate some of the many styles that exist in the cities around the world.
The prints went on to be exhibited in London galleries and also led to a commission to design front cover of the international journal ‘Crafts’.
