The course offers the opportunity for students to create self-initiated assignments around their own personal interests, not necessarily driven by any commercial need. Chris wanted to investigate typography in 3D environments and contexts. In this example (letters) Chris playfully recreates an alphabet out of letters that he received over a period of time. He produced a series of experiments that were finally brought together in a book entitled ‘XYZ’.
