Charlotte’s interest in magazine design encouraged her to create a self-initiated project around her other passion – film. She created a magazine called ‘Popcorn’ which celebrated art-house films, offering reviews, feature articles and insight behind the scenes. She designed a series of covers and a complete magazine (sample double page spread shown, right) The visual language captured the excitement of the subject and the appropriate tone of voice for the intended student audience. Her interest in magazine design took her to New York following graduation, where she worked for a number of leading fashion magazines before returning to London to work for Studio Myerscough.
